Filling Space

Haven't been in the mood to stare at a screen for extended periods of time lately. Really just wanna practice roller skating but the weather has been killer. :\ Here's an older painting tho' that hasn't seen the light of day much I think.

Really inspired by Goro Fujita since that guy is one of my heroes.

In Living Color

Okay gotta actually do a background and something to put his leg on, but putting that off in favor of actually doing productive type things. Like matte paintings! And animation! In the meantime, enjoy the only time I will ever say the phrase "Gee, I never knew coloring a scabby cancer scarred ridden face is fun!"

Once an X-man...

Always an X-man. Some lineart that I'm gonna color later. Pose isn't anything spectacular but good enough. I have actually been drawing other super heroes aside from Deadpool, but they're slow going and I've gone through about a dozen different Gambit sketches and none of them good enough to finish. Bleh oh well.

Got all excited about how cool Deadpool is yesterday and couldn't stop until I finished this. He's boss.

Daily Doodles...?

So I decided I should get a blog, if just to hold onto the name "Rolling Stone Sketch Blog" and see if it would influence me to start trying to do a painting or finished drawing every day. Even if it sucked. To just do it anyway. Also to keep track of my favorite artists blogs, which I have provided to the right for you.


So uh, I guess I'll just post something I did last week to get started. And tomorrow hopefully I'll have something new doodled up.
